Vinyl Jumble – King Street Tavern 28/01/12
Calling ALL vinyl lovers! Sam Foot is having a huge vinyl jumble tomorrow at his wonderful pub The King Street Tavern (click here for map).
Expect some fine examples of some beautiful old tunes from back in the day.
He’s putting in listening stations too – gonna be like record shopping used to be!! Kicks off at 12noon, get involved! Beer and food will be served as usual.

Hello COR Scallies and Disco bunnies! Hope you are all very well and looking forward to the festive season ahead!
So, what you doing boxing day? Fancy a proper COR knees up?
I hope so, because the Civilisation Of the Rough returns this Boxing Day with the now notorious COR Boxing Day soiree – which this year we will be transforming into a Victorian Masquerade Ball for your entertainment pleasure, delectation and delight!
Not only are we back after a one year hiatus, we’re also heading back to the scene of some of our best ever parties in our beloved Albert Straza – Yes, we are returning to the wonderful, wonderful Wine Vaults! What a treat!
It’s gonna be a full on, full fat Civilisation Of the Rough production (long over due) and we’re gonna totally transform the place once again. You won’t recognise it! Expect full COR decor floor to ceiling, as well as some of best sound on the south coast, underground disco and house all night long across 3 rooms and of course one of the best smiley happy crowds in the whole of Southsea village. Yes, that’s you, you lovely party people!
This is going to be huge and to top it off we have the one of the leading lights of the disco scene currently heading down to grace our COR ones and twos, the incredible LEO ZERO!! Oh yes, this will be good!
Of course ALL the COR DJs will be on duty too to smash the DF in the way you have now become acustomed. We’ll try not to break the floor thought this time!

Good Afternoon Disco bunnies and COR Scallies, hope this meesage finds you all very well.
Very happy to present the second of our 7 COR mixes we are putting together for your listening pleasure in the run up to our monster COR Boxing Day soriee when we return to the wonderfully Wine Vaults in our beloved Albert Rd, Southsea.

Free Party in Albert Rd with GO BANG!

Just a quick one to let you know we have aour next Rough Around The Edges free party this Friday in Albert Road at The Edge Of The Wedge.
As always its complety free to get in and goes from 8pm til 2am! This month we are very excited to be welcoming Brighton’s underground disco rave heroes GO BANG! to take comtrol of the ones. As well as these VERY special guests, they will also be bringing along their GO BANG! VJ for the night for spectaular visual to accompany their set, and of course you’ll have the COR DJ’s on hand to help with the proceeding as needed.
This is going to be a proper smash! The last 3 parties have been total smashes, the response has been brilliant. You’ve all been brilliant! Here are the photos to wet your appetite…

Our run of free monthly events at The Edge Of The Wedge in Southsea have gone so swimmingly, they’ve offered us a few more dates to takes us up until the end of the year. Well of course we said yes!

Rough Round The Edges
COR’s Mirrorball spinoff now has a spin off of it’s own! It’s called ‘Rough Around The Edges’ and it’s a free party that will be taking place monthly at the Edge Of The Wedge.
There are some pretty heavy weight guest line up to play at this new monthly bash.
Stalwarts from the underground disco scene Pablo Contraband from Disco Deviant, Affy & Ali from Go Bang! and Lloyd & Faz from Nocturnal Records will all be taking there turns be behind the RATE wheels of steel over the coming months.
The next party is this Friday, 22nd July, with our first special guest Pablo Contranband from Disco Deviant!
Funtimes kick off at 8pm and go on til 2am and best of all its FREE!
