Hot on the tail of the news of our next wonderful COR soiree, COR’s very own disco vet and Mirrorball main man Steve Laming has whipped up this little gem of a mix to begin to get us in the underground disco mood. Some really cracking tracks on here, grab an earful and download a copy to keep too!

With the imminent visit of Ashley Beedle to COR’s GETTANO looming ever closer (Sat 27th Feb), we here at COR towers thought you might like to hear some of the man himself. Those of you familiar with Mr Beedle’s work (and I know that would be a fair few of you!) will know that he is arguably king of crossing genres. Not satisfied contributing some of the House scene’s highlights over the years,  Ashley Beedle likes to dabble with disco, reggae, pop, acid jazz, rock and roll – the list goes on. To showcase this genre spanning taste, Mr Beedle began last year to produce the start of a series of podcasts entitled ‘Ashley Beedle’s Space Programme‘. These podcasts are essentially mixes by Ashley Beedle, laying out tracks from the many different genres he has an interest in. You can grab an earful of part 1 and 2 below – Enjoy!

Fresh home after knee surgery, Civilisation Of the Rough stalwart Mark Persaud hobbles up to the ones and twos and knocks up this lil prelude to the COR Boxing Day Bonanza smash up on, erm, boxing day. Loving prepared COR’s very own Big Mick Hood. A stirling cloak room attendant and a very attractive transvestite, Big Mick has also been know to chuck down the odd tune or two over the years and many DF’s are still in recovery now.
