Ashley Beedle Out Hear Audio Mix…

Last modified on 2010-02-25 12:35:52 GMT. 0 comments. Top.

out hear audio_625 To get you right in the mood for Ashley Beedle’s iminent rendezous with the COR DF, we thought you might like to wrap you lug holes around this simply wicked mix from the man himself. beedle_mp What makes this mix extra special is that all of the tracks featured are from AshleyBeedle’s very own record label, the wonderful Out Hear Audio.

Ashley set up his underground label Out Hear Audio as a home for his ever-multiplying artist monikers; shortly after its initial appearance in 2007 the label went under due to its distributor’s collapse. A second outing was almost marred in late 2008, but was saved in 2009 and released “Attention Cherie” by April March (Ashley Beedle Vox Mix) followed by ‘Remember’ the final outing from London Heavy Disco Revue, and then ‘Made of Stars’ by Ralph Und Beedle – all releases have sold out of physical copies. Look out for the new release ‘The Road We Travel’ by Afrikanz On Marz Jan 2010.

Ashley Beedle’s Space Programme Podcast…

Last modified on 2010-02-03 00:22:26 GMT. 0 comments. Top.

ashleybeedle_profile With the imminent visit of Ashley Beedle to COR’s GETTANO looming ever closer (Sat 27th Feb), we here at COR towers thought you might like to hear some of the man himself. Those of you familiar with Mr Beedle’s work (and I know that would be a fair few of you!) will know that he is arguably king of crossing genres. Not satisfied contributing some of the House scene’s highlights over the years,  Ashley Beedle likes to dabble with disco, reggae, pop, acid jazz, rock and roll – the list goes on. To showcase this genre spanning taste, Mr Beedle began last year to produce the start of a series of podcasts entitled ‘Ashley Beedle’s Space Programme‘. These podcasts are essentially mixes by Ashley Beedle, laying out tracks from the many different genres he has an interest in. You can grab an earful of part 1 and 2 below – Enjoy!

persaud_cor_mixFresh home after knee surgery, Civilisation Of the Rough stalwart Mark Persaud hobbles up to the ones and twos and knocks up this lil prelude to the COR Boxing Day Bonanza smash up on, erm, boxing day. From everyone here at COR Towers, have a wicked chrimbo, hope Father Christmas brings you everything you wanted and look forward to partying with you on Boxing Day! Big Love. And Enjoy…

Coakroom Cutz Vol 2This wicked mix lovingly whipped up by COR stalwart Big Mick Hood is the follow up to the very well received Cloakroom Cutz Vol 1, and will  hopefully get you warmed up and in the mood for COR’s forthcoming Boxing Day Bonanza. Long over due an airing, Hoody pulled this together in January this year. Some crackin disco ditties and some very rare bits too, this little session surely does reaffirm the fact that Big Mick does indeed have the best record collection in the whole of the western world. Fact. Enjoy! Big Love

Jewel case Photoshop File COR massive, hello to you. Got a treat for ya. This has been circulated amongst the COR party contingent once before, but it was a long time ago now and before we had a website. It was very well received back then so I’m sure you’re gonna love it second time around. And if you didn’t get an earful first time round then I hope you enjoy it now (you will!). Loving prepared COR’s very own Big Mick Hood. A stirling cloak room attendant and a very attractive transvestite, Big Mick has also been know to chuck down the odd tune or two over the years and many DF’s are still in recovery now. If you were lucky enough to catch Mick on the one’s and two’s at the Love Albert Road Day closing party you’ll know he knows his stuff by giving us one of the stand out sets of the weekend – and that was after just 20mins sleep! Check Mick’s profile to find out more about this COR stalwart and grab an earful of his Cloakroom Cutz Vol 1 below.
