Hello one, hello all, hope this message find you all very well.

The most painful month of the year is slowly drawing to a close. Christmas and New Year now seem like a long forgotten fragment of a once wonderful dream and the enthusiasm for a detox January is as exhausted as the bank account.

But there is finally the beginnings of a light at the end of this January shaped tunnel. Pay day is upon us, the detox is over and the wonderful first weekend in Feb is tantalisingly close.

So what you going to do to wave goodbye to a long hard January and hello to the rest of this wonderful year ahead??

Well we didn’t know either, so we thought we’d throw an impromptu underground rave up.

Nik Bunting has managed to get hold of the Citrus (Bar 69) at short notice. He’s taking his 2k sound system there and has invited the COR DJs to come and play some records with him.

3/7th of the COR fam in the form of Leon Windsor, Matt Seeney and Myself will be joining Nik for an impromptu night of eclectic delights.

And an eclectic night it will most certainly be. Nik will be taking his turntables so we will all be diggin the vaults to try and out do each other in the vinyl stakes.

I got a load of old deep house and 90′s house classics I just been gagging to air since rediscovering my love of the turntable over the new year, Matt will no doubt have a pile of fine edits, reworks and relevant hipwave output from the worlds finest independent imprints, Nik I know is chomping at the bit to throw down some old school DnB flavaz as well as a truck load of old housey goodness and Leon, unshackled from the the disco and house confines of the COR music policy (on which he manages always to occupy the fringes of anyway) will be able to exercise fully his back catalogue of early techno and anything else he thinks might piss me off.

But whatever gets played, in whatever genre, you can be completely assured they will all be total party starters. This will be a proper little underground smash!
